Zhangjiang, Shanghai, July 24, 2024 - Phlexing CEO Qing He was invited to participate in the 2024 Shanghai New Quality Productive Force Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Integration Conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Artificial Intelligence Empowers Innovation and Development in Integrated Circuits." 

The conference aimed to promote collaboration between industry, academia, research, and application in the IC field, further integrating industrial, educational, scientific research, talent, and innovation chains.  It aimed to cultivate talents for institutions and supply talents for enterprises, playing a role in promoting industrial development. The conference gathered top experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and educators in the field of integrated circuits from home and abroad to discuss the deep integration of the integrated circuit industry with education and how to cultivate high-quality talents to meet the needs of the new era.

Experts, scholars, and industry leaders at the meeting delivered keynote speeches and discussions, sharing the latest research results and practical experiences in their respective fields. They discussed the application and future development trends of artificial intelligence, advanced packaging, and atomic layer deposition (ALD) technology in integrated circuits, and jointly explored the important role of technological innovation in promoting industrial development. 

Qing shared the development stages and market prospects of artificial intelligence and integrated circuits, as well as the challenges artificial intelligence poses to the semiconductor industry and how it empowers integrated circuits. He also discussed in details the application of artificial intelligence in the EDA field, especially reporting on the industry-academia-research demonstration project led by Phlexing, in conjunction with universities such as Fudan, Shanghai Jiao Tong, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Tongji University, as well as the situation and progress of the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 - New Generation "Artificial Intelligence" major project. It was unanimously believed that through closer integration of industry, academia, research, and application, the talent gap in industrial development can be effectively made up, the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements can be accelerated, and the development of China's integrated circuit industry can be promoted towards high-end and intelligent.

With the successful conclusion of the conference, the participants expressed that they have gained a lot and are full of confidence in the future development of the integrated circuit industry. The successful holding of the conference not only strengthened the connection between industry, academia, and research but also provided strong support for promoting the continuous innovation and talent cultivation of the integrated circuit industry.
